RGG Associates are one of the leading national providers of training for the Level 4 Diploma in Careers Information & Advice and the Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development as well as the Level 6 Certificate Careers Leader qualifications. At the heart fo these qualifications lay the skills of giving information, advice and guidance which are essential for any careers work with both young people and adults.
All qualifications are accredited by OCR and we work with organisations to design and develop bespoke training and coaching programmes to meet the requirements of their staff. We also offer non-accredited training and coaching in leadership and management and information advice and guidance.
RGG Associates work with blue chip companies, schools, colleges, local authorities, National Careers Service prime contractors and training providers, and in fact anyone who provides professional careers guidance to their clients.
RGG Associates are the local provider for Yorkshire & Humber and North East areas of the Level 6 Accredited Careers Leader training funded by The Careers & Enterprise Company. Traditionally we have worked ‘face to face’ with our learners offering group training workshops and individual tutorials and coaching sessions. However, because of the restrictions imposed by COVID-19 we have now re-designed our courses to be delivered online through blended learning.
At present OCR are allowing us to assess video or audio recorded client career interviews as evidence of competence. Once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted we very much hope to be able to return to observing learners giving career guidance in their workplace.
RGG Associates realise the importance of CPD to professional practitioners and regularly publish information about developments in the career guidance sector either through our Twitter or LinkedIn accounts or through half and full day online training sessions. We stay connected to our alumni via email so that we can continue to support them in staying up to date in their professional practice.
Thank you ever so much for all of your help, patience and support in helping me complete the course. You may have noticed it's not something I naturally settle in to, and there were many aspects which I found challenging, but through your calm method of delivery I was able to understand the requirements to achieve success. I can honestly say that I view how I deliver advice and guidance in a different way now, and believe my interviews have improved as result.
Really enjoyed the opportunity to spend time to hear/discuss ideas and ways of doing things with others.
The independent learning with a named assessor worked well as we agreed the next meeting as we went along and agreed manageable deadlines.
The resource booklets issued at each session along with discussion have helped to clarify information from the training.
A really good informative course. Used Laptops to look at real websites and to analyse the information we were given.
